Reena was raised by an artist and an engineer in Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ -- parents who spend much of their free time fishing gardening, and cooking, the simple things in life always seem to bring peace of mind to this chick.

Throughout highschool and college, Reena performed either as a figure skater, dancer or actor, and remaining moments tutored kids or volunteered at a hospital/ library. Being the shy gal in the back of the classroom doodling was her norm.

In high school, she discovered the Speech and Debate team. One of her fondest memories was at 16, rehearsing a piece written by Anne Sexton with David Goyette, and being able to disappear into her performance. She credits Mel Olson and David Goyette for giving her “the bug”.

Reena now is an actor, producer and director of film, television, and theatre. She trained in New York City with Terry Knickerbocker at William Esper Studio (Meisner Technique). She has worked on several stage, film, television and web projects in Los Angeles, New York City and Arizona.

In her freetime, she loves to cook, discover new recipes and restaurants, and spend plenty of time shooting pool. At least, whenever it's humanly possible.

As a "hyphenate" her mission is creating art that is activism. Use creativity to say something that means something to your heart, and in turn speaks to others. Make them laugh, cry, ponder, puke...just make them react.

She co-founded Off-Chance Productions in 2007 and has successfully been pursuing this goal since. Personal satisfaction is never-ending when you are in control of creating it.

Anne Sexton once said, “Put you ear down
close to your soul and listen hard..."
Reena likes to add, ”...and then do something about it!”
