Dutt is a director and producer, Project Involve alumn and a past KRF Producing Fellowship recipient at San Francisco Film Society.
She most recently directed a short film called FOUND in Longview, WA which is currently in post production, and she was in development with Guneet Monga and Sikhya for another short film entitled THE NURSE. Dutt directed TOO MANY BODIES, a music video for "Place Called Us" by Alex Mackey also a socially driven piece advocating for gun reform, which was picked up by NoRAnow.org and SurvivorsEmpowered.org. It is currently traveling the festival circuit, and has received numerous awards in music video and social justice categories.
She directed 3 PUFFS OF GOLD, a piece about domestic violence, and was a finalist for New Filmmakers Los Angeles: On Location competition with her film "SNAPSHOT!" (2011).
In addition, Dutt directed a series of Sponsored and Original Content projects for Evite.com, commercials for Mr. Tummee, and a spec for Moet Chandon.
Dutt is a graduate of the Media Arts program at the University of Arizona, Tucson, and the acting program at William Esper Studio, New York City.
Dutt also directs for theatre and has an extensive producing history.
